Lie to Me Season Premiere

Tim Roth is a bad ass. A fucking bad ass to be exact. I rarely gush about dudes (actually, I never gush about dudes) but I’ve been a huge Tim Roth fan for a long time. He is THE quintessential villain. And even when he’s the good guy, you still love to hate him. Thank you, Fox for bringing Roth to the small screen in Lie to Me.

I first saw Tim Roth in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead

Lie to Me is an excellent show. I have to admit I had my doubts they’d be able to carry the theme beyond a couple of episodes but it’s amazing how entertaining people lying can be. Peppered with Tim Roth’s disdainful honesty and snide assessments of peoples shortcomings as Dr. Cal Lightman makes it all the more entertaining.

The season premiere sees Lightman oddly obsessed with a young girl with a split personality disorder. The girl, played unconvincingly by Erika Christensen, has one personality that witnessed a murder. Dr. Lightman blows off the vetting of a Supreme Court nominee to unwrap the mystery. This episode also saw more of Ria Torres (played by Monica Raymund) as Dr. Lightman’s protege flexing her muscle. I couldn’t find ANY pictures of her in a bikini. She’s a big gurl for sure.. but she’s brown and still pretty hot. How bout some skin?!

Lie to Me switched to Monday nights at 9 pm right after House (which was chock full of Olivia Wilde this week). Check it and let me know your thoughts.
